I was asked to create a E-commerce membership website for MHRA Deficiencies. This was a website which allowed members to have access to specific Pharmaceutical data. The key elements of the website project were:
- Members area with access to pharmaceutical data
- Online payment for monthly subscription
- Custom structured pharmaceutical data
- Ability for members to filter and search for data in various ways
- Display of charts based on the data
- News area
- Ability for client to update all areas of the website
- Professional design
- Optimised for mobile and handheld devices
- Full regular automated backups
I created the website using the Drupal content management system. The most challenging part of the website was to get the recurring subscription for members to work seamlessly and reliably. As well as developing the website I set up all the hosting on a virtual server.
