Macguys asked me to build a new website for their company. They are London based specialists who repair Apple Mac products and have a shop in Tooting Bec. They wanted me to design a website which would be stylish and promote their business as well as giving information on all the different services they provide.

Lewisham NHS and Lewisham Council were working jointly on a website design project for the Lewisham Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA). They wanted a website that was structured in a particular way to present information broken down into specific categories. It is an online resource for information on health, social and children in Lewisham. They also wanted to be able to continuously update the website and upload resources that could be accessed online.

A local business based in London that specialised in hanging pictures, mirrors and other art objects asked me to design a website to advertise and provide information on their business and services. The website design needed to be stylish and match their business as well as showing off the excellent work they did.

Gabriel Summers is a local artist. He asked me to create a minimal website to display his paintings in a clear and uncluttered manner. I created the website using Drupal which allows him to upload all the images himself and arrange them in the order he wants.

I had already designed the main website for Asha Projects (www.ashaprojects.org.uk) and they asked me to create a new website for them that would concentrate solely on forced marriage. Asha Projects are a charity based in South London. The website was to provide information on and online resources for forced marriage. Asha needed to be able to update the whole website, upload resources and add news items.

Signamic is a company that provides workshops and training courses in signing.

The brief was to create a new clear and modern website for Signamic. They needed to be able to edit content throughout the site, adding and editing pages, with online payments for courses, and online application forms. This is the first stage of the project. The second stage will be to allow students to log in to access course materials, timetables and forums.

This was a website I created for Asha. They are a charity that provide help and advice for asian women who are victims of domestic violence. This was the first website they had.

This was a large website design project for Lewisham Education Arts Network (LEAN). LEAN are a non-profit organisation promoting the arts in Lewisham for young people. They wanted a website that would publicise their work, advertise events, news and meetings, facilitate networking for artists and people working in education.  LEAN also already had a membership base.

In April/May about five of my Drupal websites were hacked, and I thought I would write a short guide based on what I did to clean and restore the sites.

Can you spot the difference between these two websites?  From a visitor's point of view they are almost exactly the same. One of the site is built using the Wordpress content management system, and the other using the Drupal content management system.
