Eric Cooper is an artist working with glass, wood, metal and other mediums. He has worked on large and small projects and has worked for many prestigious clients. His website had already been developed by another designer, but Eric asked me to take over the updating of the site for him.
The website uses the Docpad static site generator system. The site itself is hosted for free on github, and all the images are freely hosted on Flickr. This is a very economical way to host a site. Only the domain name needs to be paid for!
The advantage of using a static site instead of a content management system is that they are almost impossible to hack, and you don't have to update them.
