The Accounts department of the LSE needed the ability to administer all their contacts, in particular tracking the details for visiting lecturers. They asked me to design an easy to use database allowing them to manage all their contacts.
The key features of the database that they needed were:
- The ability to perform email mail merges based on filtered groups of contacts
- List contacts according to type
- Simple event management
I designed the database using Microsoft Access. It met all their needs and was simple to use. I created the layout of the database so it was easy for them to find the information they needed.
